David Pagliaccio, PhD

I am an Associate Professor at the New York State Psychiatric Institute and Columbia University pursuing research on the neuroscience of emotion-related disorders in youth. We have several ongoing projects using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to study depression and anxiety in children and adolescents, with a focus on risk factors, mechanisms, and predictors of treatment response. I also aim improve the methods available for neuroimaging and pediatric mental health research. Critically, I take a collaborative, team science approach to research and aim to foster a supportive and inclusive training environment.
